Terrorists Carried Out Terrorist Acts with Hand Grenade, Homemade Bomb and Mines by taking Security Personnel by Surprise

     In order to cause casualties of peaceable people and administrative authorities who are working for restoring rule of law, extreme terrorists receiving financial assistance are carrying out destructive activities against public roads, streets and departmental offices with homemade bombs and mines.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on March 18 at 0320 PM, according to the report that an explosion had occurred at a garbage dump located in Myayadana Street of Atwinpadan Village in Hlaingthaya (West) Township, Yangon Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that a homemade mine had exploded at the location. The explosion injured three individuals - Daw Taytar (47 years old), Ma Win Win Htwe (17 years old) and Mg Yin Htwe (13 years old), all residents of Yetali Village in Htantabin Township, who were picking up trash near the scene. They were transported to a military Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similary, at 0450 AM, according to the report that an explosion occurred at the top of road located at the exit of Kanyingyo (Ywarhaung) Village in Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that three villagers; Ma Aye Su Khine, 41 years old, (Father) U Win Maung and Ma Khine Zin Mon, 16 years old, (Father) U Saw Htwe Hal, who both lived in this Village, were traveling on a motorcycle from Kanyingyo (Ywarhaung) Village to Hintharwal Village, and when they arrived at the scene, a landmine planted by the so-called PDF terrorist group, which exploded. As a result of the explosion, Ma Aye Su Khine and Ma Khine Zin Mon sustained mine injuries and they were transported to the Public Hospital of Kyauktaga Township for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
