ရန်ကုန်မြို့ ကျောက်တံတားမြို့နယ် ဗိုလ်ချုပ်အောင်ဆန်းလမ်း အမှတ် ၃၂၇ တွင် တည်ရှိသည့် ဝဇီရာရုပ်ရှင်ရုံသည် ၁၉၂၃ ခုနှစ်ခန့်က တည်ဆောက်ခဲ့သည့် ရှေးဟောင်းရုပ်ရှင်ရုံဖြစ်ပြီး ၁၆ ရာစုမှ ၁၈ ရာစုအတွင်းရှိ ဗိသုကာအသွင်အပြင်များ ပေါင်းစပ်ထားသည့် Beaux Arts ဗိသုကာလက်ရာပုံစံများ၊ ရုပ်လုံးကြွများဖြင့် တန်ဆာဆင်တည်ဆောက်ထားသဖြင့် မြန်မာ့ရုပ်ရှင်သမိုင်းအတွက် ဂုဏ်ယူထိန်းသိမ်းထားရမည့် အဆောက်အအုံကြီးတစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဝဇီရာရုပ်ရှင်ရုံကြီးသည် ရုပ်ရှင်၊ သဘင်၊ ဂီတ အနုပညာရှင်များက ရုပ်ရှင်ဇာတ်ကားများ၊ ပြဇာတ်များအား ပြည်သူများ အပန်းဖြေပျော်ရွှင်စေရန် တင်ဆက်ပြသခဲ့သည့် ရုပ်ရှင်ရုံကြီးဖြစ်သည့်အတွက် အနုပညာစိတ်ဝိညာဉ်များ ဆုံစည်းရာနေရာတစ်ခုလည်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
ယခုအခါ ဝဇီရာရုပ်ရှင်ရုံကြီးအား နိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရက ဂုဏ်ပြုခံကဇာတ်ရုံကြီး (Red Carpet Theatre) အဖြစ် အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ဆောင်ရွက်ရန် စီစဉ်လျက်ရှိပြီး အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ဆောင်ရွက်ပြီးပါက ရုပ်ရှင်ရုံအဖြစ်သာမကပြဇာတ်၊ ဇာတ်သဘင်၊ ရုပ်သေး၊ အက၊ ဂီတပွဲ၊ ဆွေးနွေးပွဲ၊ အစည်းအဝေးများ၊ သင်တန်းများ၊ စတူဒီယိုနှင့် အနုပညာဖန်တီးနိုင်သည့်နေရာများအဖြစ်ပါ အသုံးပြုနိုင်ရန် ဆောင်ရွက်သွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
