Press Release – Short listing for Private Sector Participation in the Mingyan Steel Mill

Ministry of Planning , Finance and Industry  is pleased to announce the short list of companies who have expressed interest in the tender for private sector participation in the Mingyan Steel Mill.  Those companies are:

1. Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co.,Ltd
2. Go Excellent Myanmar Co., Ltd
3. Millcon Thiha Co., Ltd
4. Direct Investment  Ltd
5. IMR Resources (AG) India Private Ltd

Shortlisted companies will now be required to prepare detailed bids that demonstrate an innovative approach to the development of the mill and offer the Myanmar people the highest possible value for money.
