Innocent Civilian Injured in Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Sinku Township of Mandalay Region

     In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 30 November 2025 at 5:30 PM, a report stated that a man with gunshot wounds was admitted to Madaya Township Public Hospital in Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Win Oo (64 years old), a resident of Yat Kan Sin Taung Village in Sinku Township. At 5:00 PM, on the same day, when the victim was working near a fish pond close to the village, a so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on him, accusing him of being a “Decoy”, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.
