Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) Terrorists and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Naungcho Township of Shan State

An innocent civilian injured in a heavy weapon attack by a combined group of Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) terrorists and so-called PDF terrorists in Nyaungcho Township of Shan State.


    Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 16 July 2025 at 8:30 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Pyin Oo Lwin Township Public Hospital of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims was identified as U Phoe Tho (46 years old), a resident of Nghot Kha Lay Village in Naungcho Township of Shan State. On 15 July at 1:00 PM, a heavy weapon shell, fired by a combined group of Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) terrorists and so-called PDF terrorists, exploded in the vicinity of the victim’s village, causing his injuries, it is reported.
    It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
