Man Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Nattalin Township of Bago Region

     In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are administrative officials who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “Spies, Informants or Decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 17 September 2025 at 9:10 AM, U Kyaw Soe (aka) Phoe Kyaw (47 years old), 100-household elder, a resident of Shar See Bo (Auk Su) Village in Nattalin Township of Bago Region, was at his house when three so-called PDF terrorists arriving by a motorcycle, opened fire on him in front of his house, accusing him of being a “Decoy”. As a result, U Kyaw Soe (aka) Phoe Kyaw died on the spot, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.
