Innocent Civilians Killed and Injured in Drone Bomb Attack on Village by Terrorists

        Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 29 December 2024 at 9:00 AM, a report stated that a so-called PDF terrorist group conducted an attack by dropping bombs on Sar Kone Village in Kambalu Township of Sagaing Region. The explosions caused within the village. As a result, Daw Cho Cho Mar (aka) Daw Nyo (41 Years Old), a residents of the village, died on the spot. Additionally, U Kyaw Myint (61 years old), U Wah Hit (50 years old), U Tun Myint (37 years old), U Win Naing (46 years old), U Bo Lay (57 years old), Daw Thet Htar (38 years old), Daw Oo (56 years old), Ma Phyo Phyo Wai (27 years old), Daw Mi Lone (65 years old), Daw Sein May (56 years old), Daw Mi Hnin (55 years old), Ma Thin Mar Soe (aka) Ma Soe (23 years old) and Daw Zin Mar Oo (48 years old) all residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries and were transported to Kambalu District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are killed and injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
