MoH UM receives ICRC resident representative

UNION Health Minister Dr Thet Khaing Win received the resident representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Ms Elena Ajmone Sessera, and her team at the ministry yesterday morning.

During the meeting, the Ministry of Health and the ICRC signed a regional agreement for cooperation in health activities. They talked about more cooperation in the humanitarian assistance activities carried out by the ICRC in Myanmar, prosthetics manufacturing and installation in cooperation with the ministry. The ICRC delegation discussed issues related to obtaining visas for international staff and travel permission within the country.
