Union Minister U Kyaw Tin accepts credentials from Resident Representative of UNDP

Union Minister for International Cooperation U Kyaw Tin received Mr. Peter Batchelor, the newly-appointed Resident Representative of UNDP for Myanmar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on 28 March 2019. During the occasion, Mr. Peter Batchelor presented his credentials to the Union Minister.

After the presentation of credentials, they exchanged views on the progress of the cooperation between Myanmar and the UNDP in wide-ranging areas including peace and good governance, environmental management, rule of law, anti-corruption, and poverty reduction under the UNDP Country Programme to Myanmar (2018-2022) as well as the implementation of the ongoing projects in Rakhine State.
