Applying for entrance to Training School for Development of Nationalities Youths from Border Areas Basic requirements for service
- Applicants must be of ethnic nationalities who live in border areas and must be skillful with their languages.
- Applicants who are in line with the following criteria will be analyzed and accepted:
- Orphans
- Motherless
- Fatherless
- Poverty
- Only Grade -6 students who are not older than 13 years of age will be accepted at the beginning of the academic year annually and new training schools will be accepted according to the age of groups and classes proportionally:
- Secondary age from (13) to (16) years
- Applicants must be the ones who understand and obey the disciplines laid down by the school.
Service charge
All services are free.
Steps for application
- The enrollment applications must be submitted from the beginning of April to the end of June of the annual academic year.
- Applications must be sent to the Department (Headquarters) through respective headmasters together with a recommendation letter for character by respective ward/village administrator, fit certificate, recommendation by township administrator, application form, and (6) passport photographs.

The students who pass the matriculation examination from Training Schools for Development of Nationalities Youths from Broder Areas will be allowed to attend the University for Development of National Races of the Union (Sagaing) and Nationalities Youths Resource Development Degree Colleges (Yangon/Sagaing).
