House Damaged in Improvised Rocket Attack by Pro-Terrorism KNU Members and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Kawkareik Township of Kayin State

Destruction of a house caused by an improvised rocket attack carried out by  pro-terrorism KNU members and so-called PDF terrorists in  Kawkareik Township of Kayin State.


    Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 13 July 2025 at 9:10 AM, a combined group of pro-terrorism KNU members, along with so-called PDF terrorists conducted fired improvised rockets into No. 2 Ward in Kyon Doe Town, Kawkareik Township of Kayin State. One of the rocket shells exploded on the house of U Hla Nyein (65 years old), a resident of the ward. As a result, the roofing, ceiling, and furniture of the house were damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured, it is reported.
    It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
