So-Called PDF Terrorist Group Sends Threatening Letter to House of National Unity Party Executive Committee Member in Oakpho Township of Bago Region

     The terrorists are carrying out acts of intimidation, abduction, extortion and assassination targeting administrative officials, civil servants from various departments and innocent civilians. Their aim is to undermine national stability and peace and to disrupt administrative mechanisms.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 29 September 2025 at 3:30 AM, a report stated that U Khin Maung Soe (62 years old), an executive committee member of the National Unity Party and a resident of Ka Wai Su Village in Oakpho Township of Bago Region, found a plastic bag hanging on his yard gate when he went to open it. When security personnel arrived at the scene for further investigation, they found a threat letter left by the so-called PDF terrorist group. The letter contained the message: "Khin Maung Soe, will you run in the election or will your life change?". Security personnel removed the letter, it is reported.

     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.
