Innocent Civilian Killed in Heavy Weapon Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Gyobingauk Township of Bago Region

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 September 2025 at 5:15 PM, a heavy weapon shell fired by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded in U Yin Gyi Village in Gyobingauk Township of Bago Region. As a result, Mg Eai Sa Taing Chit Thu (16 years old), a resident of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries to his left chest and died on the spot, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
