Administrative Official and Innocent Civilian Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Tada-U Township of Mandalay Region

    Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities including abducting and extorting money from local civilians, as well as killings.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 27 July 2025 at 9:00 PM, while U Naing Oo (53 years old), 100-hosuehold elder, and U Aung Myo Oo (46 years old), both residents of Kyee Ma Nar Village in Ngazun Township of Mandalay Region, were fishing in the Ayeyarwady River near Lat Pan Zin Village in Tada-U Township, a so-called PDF terrorist group arriving by motorboats and abducted them. The terrorists took them toward Sagaing Town, it is reported.
    Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
