So-Called PDF Terrorists Blow Up Kyauk Sa Yit Kone Bridge on Mandalay-Madaya-Mogok Road in Madaya Township of Mandalay Region

So-called PDF terrorists and their accomplices, with the intention of disrupting national peace and stability as well as hindering the flow of regional trade, have been illegally and violently planting and detonating mines on public roads and bridges used by civilians.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, On 30 October 2025, at 7:30 AM, so-called PDF terrorists and their collaborators detonated mines and destroyed the Kyauk Sa Yit Kone Bridge. The bridge stretches Kyauk Sa Yit Kone (South) Village, with Kyauk Sa Yit Kone (North) and the bridge was built across the Chaung Ma Gyi Creek along the Mandalay-Madaya-Mogok road in Madaya Township of Mandalay Region. The bridge is a type of reinforced concrete structure, 360 feet long and 30 feet wide. The explosion caused a collapse approximately 65 feet length. As a result, vehicles and travellers are no longer able to cross the bridge, commodities and transport activities to a complete halt.
The So-called PDF terrorists and their accoplices, under the pretext of benefiting the local area, have in fact been causing significant harm to the livelihoods and rights of the local population. Residents have become fully aware of this reality and strongly condemned the mine explosion and destruction of the bridge, which is unrelated to any military operations. Authorities have also stated that responsible officials will carry out repair and restoration work on the bridge as quickly as possible.
