A village administrator and a village militia member were killed in a shooting by so-called PDF terrorists in Mudon Township of Mon State

     Terrorists have engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs, and improvised explosive devices across towns and village in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhuman acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians and also election commission members, as well as killing.

     On 7 December 2025 at 1:25 PM, security personnel had they had investigated the incident or crime scence to a report that two men had died of their injuries at a rubber plantation about 3 miles east of Naing long Village, Mudon Township of Mon State. The incident occurred when Nailong Village Administrator U Zin Myo Oo (41 years old) and village militia member U Banya Mon (34 years old) were on a motorbike to provide security for the area when they were shot dead by a so-called PDF terrorists (under investigation) near the said rubber plantation and burned down the motorbike. It was reported that the two victims, U Zin Myo Oo and U Banyar Mon, died from gunshot wounds and burns.

     Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorist involved, it is reported.
