Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attacks by Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) Terrorist Group in Naungcho Township of Shan State

Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings, and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives, and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 22 August 2025, at 5 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Pyin Oo Lwin District Public Hospital in Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Mg Sai Num Khay (17 years old) a resident of Kone Ta Malt Village in Naungcho Township of Shan State. The incident occurred around 11 AM on the same day, when the victim was at his house, a heavy weapon shell fired by Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) terrorist group exploded nearby, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
