Innocent Civilian Injured After Stepping Explosive Device Planted by Terrorist Group in Yatsauk Township of Southern Shan State

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 13 June 2025 at 6:15 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Sao San Tun Hospital in Taunggyi Township of Southern Shan State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims was identified as U Eaik San Tun (26 years old), a resident of No.1 Ward in Intaw Town, Yatsauk Township. The victim stepped on an explosive device planted by a terrorist group when he was working in a forest approximately two miles west of his town, causing his injuries, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
