Six Innocent Civilians Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Ywarngan Township of Southern Shan State

Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from civil servants and local civilians, as well as killings.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 17 June, 2025 at 4:00 PM, U Kyaw Ye Aung (32 years old), U Win Htoo (30 years old), U Shein Htet Aung (30 years old), Ko Zwal Htet (22 years old), Ko Wai Lu (26 years old), Daw Tin Zar Khine (aka) Ma Aung Nga (30 years old) and Daw Aye Aye Htway (36 years old), all residents of Yone Taung Village in Ywarngan Township of Southern Shan State, were going to an area (Ngat Twin- local name) near Htee Hlaing Village. Upon reaching the area, approximately 100 so-called PDF terrorists arrived and abducted these individuals toward the Phoe-In Village in Myitthar Township of Mandalay Region and only Daw Aye Aye Htway has left behind, it is reported.
Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
