100-Household Elder Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Tada-U Township of Mandalay Region

     The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 2 June 2026 at 5:30 AM, while U Win Aung (65 years old), 100-household elder and a resident of Taung Ta Lone Village in Tada-U Township in Mandalay Region, was in front of the “Shwe Thant” grocery store in the village, six so-called PDF terrorists arriving by three motorcycles and opened fire on him. As a result, U Win Aung died on the spot, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of administrative officials and innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
