A Buddhist Monk was injured Due to a Mine Detonated by the So-Called PDF Terrorist Group beside a Street In Front of the Nyaungtone Monastery in Chetgyi Village of Kambalu Township


       A Buddhist monk was injured due to a mine detonated by the so-called PDF terrorist group beside a street in front of the Nyaungtone Monastery in Chetgyi Village Kambalu Township, Sagaing Region.

      The incident occurred that, on 15 March  at 06:15 PM, according the report indicated that an explosion had occurred beside a street in front of the Monastery in Chatgyi Village of Kambalu Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel dispatched to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Venerable U Thaw Bana (aka) U Thaung Naing Win, the abbot of this monastery, 43 years old, (Father) U Tun Kyi, was walking on the street in front of the monastery when a mine planted by the so-called PDF terrorist group exploded on the left side of the street. Due to this explosion, Venerable U Thaw Bana sustained mine injuries and was transported to the Shwebo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.

      Security personnel are investigating to take punitive action against the terrorists who detonated a mine in front of a monastery which is a supreme place of worship for Buddhist religion, causing the injuries of a Buddhist monk, as soonest in accordance with laws, it is reported.
