A Fast Patrol Boat Operating under the Command of Myanmar Navy Conducts Necessary Rescue Activities for a Cargo Ship Stranding in Estuary of Pyapon River

A fast patrol boat operating in the area under the command of Myanmar Navy found a cargo ship named MV LASHIO stranding in estuary of Pyapon river due to malfunction of steering system on 9 July. The security personnel from the patrol boat provided healthcare services and other necessary assistance to crew members on board.

At the specific time of 10 July when the tide of the Pyapon river was highest, the stranding MV LASHIO cargo ship was towed out of the stranding area by the cargo vessel called MV Chan Lat Lat. The MV Chan Lat Lat Cargo ship then side-towed the MV Laship Cargo ship to Pyapon township for necessary repair works.
