A Pro-violence Insurgent Group and The So-called PDF Terrorist Groups Blew up and Destroyed Two Reinforced Concrete Over-Creek bridges in Phyu Township


      A Pro-violence insurgent group and the so-called PDF terrorist groups blew up and destroyed two reinforced concrete over-creek bridges in Phyu Township, Bago Region.

      The incident happened that, on 31 March  at 12:15 PM, Magyanyoe Bridge (locally known as Tumyaung Bridge) (40-foots-long and 20-foots-long wide, Type-Reinforced Concrete Bridge) and Thitpatchaung Bridge (80-foot-long and 20-foot-long wide, Type-Reinforced Concrete Bridge) which both located in Phayalahar Village of Kanyutkwin Town in Phyu Township, Bago Region, were blew up and destroyed. As a result of the explosion, Magyanyoe Bridge (locally known as Tumyaung Bridge) was slightly damaged and vehicles are still able to pass through it, while Thitpatchaung Bridge was damaged and making it impossible for vehicles to pass through it, it is reported.

      Security force members are continue taking necessary measures to take punitive legal actions against the perpetrators who blew up and destroyed reinforced concrete over creek bridges as soonest in accordance with laws, it is reported.
