In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 21 June at 12:40 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) recklessly launched an attack with improvised rocket and homemade mortars towards Wards in Myaing Township, Magway Region. The attack originated from approximately 700 meters southwest of Zeephyupin Village. Three improvised rockets and two mortar shells were detonated upon impact on the streets of No. (3) Ward. As a result of the explosion, five window panes of the house belonging to Ward Administrator U Tin Maung Than who lives in this Ward were damaged. Furthermore, Ma Chit Khun Cho, four years old (Father) U Thaung Ngwe who was playing near the scene, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel and was transported to the Myaing Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Likewise, at 02:15 PM, an armed insurgent group (total number – under scrutiny) recklessly launched an attack with heavy and small weapons towards No. (3) Ward in Kawkareik Township, Kayin State. One of the heavy weapon shells were detonated near the house of U Sein Maung who lives in Kannar Street of this Ward. As a result of the explosion, U Sein Maung’s daughter Ma Thin Nandar Soe sustained injuries from heavy weapon shell shrapnel and was transported to the Kawkareik District Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, on 22 June at 02:30 AM, member of KNU group supporting terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) recklessly launched an attack using a drone dropping bombs into Yaelalsu Village of Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region. The bombs detonated upon impact in front of the house of Ko Saw Set Htoo Aung, 21 years old (Father) U Aung Win, who lives in the Village, as well as near the house of Daw Khan Mai, 34 years old (Father) U Thar Hlaing, who lives in this Village. As a result of the explosion, Ko Saw Set Htoo Aung and Daw Khan Mai sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel and were transported to the Kyauktaga Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who recklessly attacked with drop bomb using drone towards a Ward where innocent civilians reside, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
