An Insurgent Group Supporting Terrorism and So-Called PDF Terrorist Destroyed a Mytel Telecommunication Tower in Ye Township

An insurgent group supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists destroyed a Mytel telecommunication tower in Ye Township, Mon State.

The incident happened that, on 15 April at 0615 PM, an insurgent group supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists destroyed a Mytel telecommunication tower which was installed in a rubber farm owned by U Aung Kyi who lives in Kyaukmigyaung (South) Village, located 500 yards north of the Ye-Kyaungloung-Waezin-Waepaung Road near Kyaungloung Ywarhaung Village in Ye Township, Mon State. The terrorists removed and destroyed screw piles at the bottom of the tower and on the tower suspension cable, causing the tower to fall and damages to the tower station roof, antenna and related materials, it is reported.

It has been reported that concern persons are repairing the damaged tower, and the security forces are investigating the terrorists who destroyed a telecommunication tower in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws.
