Armed Terrorists Wantonly Kill Administrative Officials, Government Employees and Civilians who live peacefully in Chauk, Shwebo and Yebyu Townships

     Armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on March 17 at 11:55 AM, according to the report indicated that a man was injured by gunfire in the Shweponetaung Area of no.1 Ward in Chauk Townshp, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. The investigation found that U Tun Lin Kyaw, 42 years old, (Father) U Maw Taw, who lived in Paypin Village, Sinku Township, was driving a MATOOR-type three-wheel Vehicle (License Plate no. MGY-15U/xxxx) carrying four passengers from Chauk Township to Sinku Township, and whey they arrived at the scene, three male terrorists (under scrutiny), who were following them on two motorcycles, shot with gun and fled the scene. As a result, U Tun Lin Kyaw sustained broken glass injuries on his arm and chest, and was transported to the Sinku Township Circuit Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported. 
     Similarly, at 01:45 PM, according to the information indicated that two men were dead by gunshot near Taganan Village in Shwebo Township, Sagaing region, security personnel dispatched to the scene to investigate. The investigation found that U Nyi Nyi Zaw, 50 years old, (Father) U Kyaw Khin, who lived in no.10 Ward of Shwebo Township, and U Than Tun Naing, 45 years old, (Father) U Nyunt Tin, who lived in no.2 Ward, were at a toll gate near the Village when the so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) arrived on five motorcycles and immediately fled the scene. As a result, U Nyi Nyi Zaw and U Than Tun Naing were dead at the scene from gunfire injuries, it is reported.
     Likewise, at 08:30 PM, according to the information indicated that a motor vehicle was shot with guns between mile-post 21/3 and 21/4 of the Ye-Dawei Highway located near Oakthayan Village in Yebyu Township, Tanintharyi Region, security personnel dispatched to the scene to investigate. The investigation found that Ko Tun Lin, 29 years old, (Father) U Lay Myint, who lived in Thingantaw Village, was driving a Forland-type six-wheel vehicle (License Plate no. 1R/xxxx) from Kanpauk Village to Yebyu Village, and when his arrived at the scene, a terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) shot with small arms from the left side of the Road. As a result, Ko Tun Lin sustained gunfire injuries and was taken to the Dawei Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
    Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
