Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing Receives a Team led by RCSS Chairman General Yawd Serk

The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a team led by Chairman of the Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS) General Yawd Serk who attended the 8th Anniversary of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) Celebration, at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw on 16 October. During the call, both sides candidly discussed on the requirements for ensuring peace and stability of the region and the State, firmly walking by the State and Tatmadaw on NCA path, enumeration of a pilot census this year, and preparations to hold an election by collecting the national census in coming year.
Also present at the call with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee Chairman Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and senior military officers while the Chairman of the RCSS was accompanied by officials, it is reported.
