Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing Pays Homage to World Missionary Oxford Sayadaw

           The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, accompanied by officials, went to Shan State Buddhist University in Taunggyi of Shan State (South) on 22 October, and paid homage to the world missionary Oxford Sayadaw. They then donated offertories, Tri Pitakat treatises in Pali and Romanized languages, and the Maravijaya Buddha replica images to the Sayadaw.

Afterwards, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister and wife planted a mahogany as a commemorative tree in the university compound, while the monks recited religious verses to dispense metta.
