Child Killed and Another Injured in Explosion of Unexploded Hand Grenade Left by CDF Terrorists in Falam Township of Chin State

Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 11 March 2026 at 10:30 AM, Mg Yaw Han Htaung Htar Htan (12 years old) and Mg Ar Gon Chan Htar Shwe (8 years old), both resident of Ram Hta Lo Village in Falam Township of Chin State, were heading to a lake located west of the village. When they reached an area near the lake, they found an unexploded hand grenade left in the area by the CDF terrorists. Mg Yaw Han Htaung Htar Htan then struck the grenade with a stone. As a result, the grenade exploded and Mg Yaw Han Htaung Htar Htan died on the spot. Additionally, Mg Ar Gon Chan Htar Shwe sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported Haka Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
