Four Innocent Civilians Injured in Heavy Weapon and Improvised Rocket Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Mogok Township of Mandalay Region

   Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.

   Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 February 2026 at 2:10 PM, so-called PDF terrorists fired heavy weapons and improvised rockets into Aung Thit Lwin Village in Mogok Township of Mandalay Region. Five heavy-weapon shells and two improvised rockets exploded within the village. As a result of the blasts, Mg Win Naing Oo, (19 years old), Mg Chit Ko (19 years old), Mg Zay Yar Myint Myat (18 years old) and Mg Kyal Sin Ko Ko (14 years old), all residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries. The injured are receiving medical treatment at their respective houses, it is reported.

   According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
