In Certain Township, Innocent Civilians Injured in Improvised Explosive Device Explosions Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorists

In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 April 2026 at 7:00 AM, Ko Kyaw Paing (24 years old), a resident of Yar Phu (Haung) Village in Yebyu Township of Tanintharyi Region, was returning home from a rubber plantation about four miles north of the village. On the same day, he reached an area near the village cemetery, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists. As a result, Ko Kyaw Paing sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Ye Township Public Hospital in Mon State for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 2:45 PM, on the same day, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Sao San Tun Hospital in Taungyi Township of Shan State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as Mg Khun Htee (19 years old), a resident of Pan Kyat Village in Hsi Hseng Township. According to the investigation, while the victim was on his way to his yard, located about one mile south of the village, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists near the yard, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
