In Certain Townships, Innocent Civilians, Including Village Tract Administrator Injured in Improvised Explosive Device Explosions Planted by Terrorists

In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 12 May 2026 at 12:45 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as Ma Thal Thal Tone (18 years old), a resident of Thit Yone Village in Myingyan Township. According to the investigation, at 7:30 AM, on the same day, while the victim was farming in a plantation field east of the village, she stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorist, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 3:40 PM, on the same day, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Tanintharyi Township Public Hospital in Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as U Myo Win (32 years old), a resident of Chauk Mile Village in Tanintharyi Township. According to the investigation, at 2:00 PM, on the same day, while the victim was working in an orchard near the village, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 3:40 PM, on the same day, U Win Oo (62 years old), the Pauk Pyin Village Tract Administrator, a resident of No. 2 Ward in Mying Township of Magway Region, triggered an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists while collecting firewood. As a result, he sustained shrapnel and was transported to Mying Township Public Hospital, it is reported.
Similarly, at 10:20 PM, on the same day, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Naungcho Township Public Hospital in Shan State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as Mg Htet Ko Aung (19 years old), a resident of Par Hat Ward in Naungcho Township. According to the investigation, at 9:45 PM, on the same day, while the victim was cutting firewood west of the “Magyi Yeik” restaurant near the Goktwin Bridge, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
