Innocent Civilian in Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Kambalu Township of Sagaing Region

     The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 15 May 2026 at 4:30 PM, a report stated that a woman with gunshot wounds was admitted to Kambalu Township Public Hospital in Sagaing Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as Daw Myint San (45 years old) a resident of Wat Toe (North) Village in Kambalu Township. According to the investigation, at 1:30 PM, on the same day, while the victim was herding cows in a field about six furlongs north of the village, 15 so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on her, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
