Innocent Civilian injured by Heavy Weapon Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Pa Lal Township of Sagaing Region

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 26 April 2026 at 5:25 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had been admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as U Myo Hlaing (38 years old), a resident of Padauk Kone Village in Pa Lal Township of Sagaing Region. According to the investigation, on 24 April 2026, the victim was travelling by car to Monywa Town for shopping. At 1:00 PM, on the same day, while he had temporarily stopped his car an area near Hnaw Yoe Village, a heavy weapon shell fired by so-called PDF terrorists exploded nearby, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
