Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by So- Called PDF Terrorists in Myaung Township of Sagaing Region

    Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.

    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 March 2026, around 6:30 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Daw Myat Su Mon (42 years old), a resident of Thaung Gyi Village in Myaung Township of Sagaing Region. According to the investigation, on 23 March 2026, at 12:00 PM, a heavy weapon attack by so-called PDF terrorists, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.

    According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
