Innocent Civilian Killed in Improvised Explosive Device Explosion Planted by KNU and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Nyaunglebin Township of Bago Region

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 14 April 2026 at 6:30 AM, while U Myint Soe (63 years old), a resident of Myoma (1) Ward in Madauk Town, Nyaunglebin Township of Bago Region, was collecting plastic bottles near a garbage on the roadside of the Nyaunglebin-Shwegyin Road in the ward, he triggered an improvised explosive device planted by a combined group of KNU and so-called PDF terrorists. As a result, U Myint Soe died on the spot, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
