Terrorists involved in terrorist activities have been engaging in battles within public towns, wards and villages, firing heavy weapons, launching improvised rockets, and using drones to drop bombs on passenger vehicles.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 18 November 2024 at 5:05 PM, a report stated that shrapnel individuals injured and killed by shrapnel had been brought to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the “Ngwe Owe Man” passenger coach, operating on the Kathar-Mandalay transportation line, had departed from Kathar Town in Sagaing Region and was en route to Mandalay City. When the coach arrived near Pay Gyi Village in Kanbalu Township, a so-called PDF terrorist group conducted an attack using a drone to drop bombs. One of the bombs exploded near the coach. As a result, among the passengers on board, Ma Eaindra Moe (four years old), died on the spot. Additionally, four others sustained shrapnel injuries: Daw Khin Htay (57 years old), Daw Nyein Sabal (30 years old), Daw Yin Htway (33 years old) and Mg Thiha Naing (three years old), it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists, including engaging in battles within towns, wards, and villages where innocent civilians reside peacefully, as well as firing heavy weapons, launching improvised rockets, and using drones to drop bombs on passenger vehicles, innocent civilians have been killed and injured. In response, local residents are vehemently protesting against these acts of terrorism, unequivocally rejecting them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary measures in collaboration with the local community to ensure safety and stability, it is reported.
