     Innocent civilians, including two children were dead, and two women and a child were injured due to the reckless firing of heavy weapon towards a Village by Terrorists in Nawnghkio Township, Northern Shan State.
     The incident happened that, on 5 April at 05:00 PM, a terrorist group (under scrutiny) recklessly fired heavy weapon towards Thanbo Village of Nawnghkio Township, Northern Shan State. The bombs exploded inside the Village. As a result of the explosion, Ma Wai Wai Tun, 14 years old, (Father) U Than Tun, and Mg Kaung Htike Zaw, 11 months old, (Father) U Htike Htike, who lived in this Village, were dead from bomb injuries. In addition, Daw Khin Mar Aye, 50 years old (Father) U Maung Lay, Daw War War Tun, 30 years old (Father) U Than Tun and Ma Shu Mawa Win Shwe Yi, 7 years old (Father) U Htike Htike, sustained bomb injuries and were taken to the Pyinoolwin District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
    Security personnel are investigating to take punitive action against those who recklessly firied heavy weapon towards the village where innocent civilians reside, who are not involved in military affairs, as soonest in accordance with law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
