PDF Terrorists Recklessly Fire Homemade Electric Rockets into Wards in Myaing Township

At 9 pm of 10 May, PDF terrorists fired homemade electric rockets into wards in Myaing township of Magway region from the side of Kangyi village. In the attack, the rocket shells fell and exploded on the house of U Nyo Thin (56) living in ward (3) and No. 2 Basic Education High School in ward (2) of Myaing township. Due to the explosion, U Nyo Thin’s sister, a primary school teacher of Daw Ei Mar Myint (30) and his son, Mg Kyaw San Lin (7) died on the spot with serious injuries. Two-month-year old child, Mg Zaw Wai Yan Oo also got injuries. Moreover, 52 window glasses and 45 ceiling tiles of school buildings on the campus of No. 2 Basic Education High

School were shattered and damaged.

PDF terrorists are firing heavy weapons and electric rockets targeting the wards/villages that do not support or give extortion to them. Therefore, the innocent civilians are disgusted by their acts of terrorism.

The child who got injuries in the above-mentioned incident was taken to public hospital in Myaing township. Security forces are taking necessary measures to identify and arrest the terrorists in accordance with the security procedures.
