Security Force Arrest Members of Terrorist Group Called Anonymous with Arms/ Ammunition, Mines and Explosive-related Materials in Ayethayar Ward near Chindwin River Bank in Monywa Township

NUG, CRPH and so-called PDF Terrorist Groups, which the Government has declared as terrorist organizations, claim to be “for the people”, but are lawlessly killing civil service personnel and innocent citizens, including Buddhist monks and teacher, as well as in engaging in looting, robbing, and confining people by accusing them of being decoys (Dalan) and extorting money from them. Besides, the terrorists also detonate mines to instill fear in the public.
Security personnel are working day and night to identify and arrest terrorists, according to a tip-off from civilians who oppose terrorism, security personnel arrested the leader and members of the terrorist group called Anonymous along with arms/ammunition and explosives in a farm hut near the bank of Chindwin River in Ayetharyar ward of Monywa Township on 15 February 2023. The arrested terrorists included the terrorist group leader Ye Yint Kyaw (aka) Soun Ye (33 years old) and its members: Kyaw San Oo (20 years old), Ko Ko Aung (aka) Ta Htaung (19 years old), Wai Yan Htet (aka) Zee Kwat (18 years old), Soe Soe (aka) Mg Soe (37 years old), Nay Lin Aung (aka) Oak-Aw (17 years old), Kaung Khant Zaw (aka) Kaung Sein (18 years old), Kyaw Ye Thu (aka) Kyar Lay (17 years old), Aung Zaw Htet (aka) Ko Kaung (23 years old), Yar Pyae (18 years old) and those who abet terrorists: Kyi Min (48 years old), Khin Hnin Soe (45 years old), Ko Myint (55 years old) and Soe Soe (45 years old), totaling 14. Along with them, seven homemade guns, five improvised mortars, 19 improvised mines, 176 rounds of assorted bullets and other explosive-related materials were also confiscated.
Moreover, security personnel also managed to save a total of four unarmed civilians: two males, one female and one child, who were abducted and confined by the terrorists.
Additionally, according to the testimonies of the perpetrators, it is identified that a man, including a child and the whole family, were abducted and confined after the man removed mines planted by the members of so-called Anonymous terrorists in Monywa City. Besides, the other one was being kidnapped by terrorists for ransom.
According to the confessions of the perpetrators; Ye Yint Kyaw (aka) Soun Ye, Ko Ko Aung (aka) Ta Htaung, Wai Yan Htet (aka) Zee Kwat, Nay Lin Aung (aka) Oak-Aw, Kaung Khant Zaw (aka) Kaung Sein and Yar Pyae attended three-month terrorist explosive training run by Monywa PDF terrorist group in the mountain range to the east of Bawdi Tahtaung Pagoda in Monywa Township in second week of April, 2022.
After the training, the terrorist group called Anonymous was formed in the third week of December, 2022 to carry out terrorist attacks, armed robbery and extort money from unarmed civilians after abduction. It comprised 13 members: Kyaw San Oo, Ko Ko Aung (aka) Ta Htaung, Wai Yan Htet (aka) Zee Kwat, Soe Soe (aka) Maung Soe, Nay Lin Aung (aka) Oak-Aw, Kaung Khant Zaw (aka) Kaung Sein, Kyaw Ye Thu (aka) Kyaw Lay, Aung Zaw Htet (aka) Ko Kaung, Yar Pyae and other perpetrators (still at large) Kyaw Ye Aung (aka) Twenty One and Min Maw Kun (aka) Chaung Zaw Chan Pyae.
Receiving financial support from the so-called CRPH and NUG terrorist groups, the terrorist group called Anonymous purchased arms/ammunition and other explosive-related materials. Then, they carried out four improvise bomb attacks at the public areas to disrupt government mechanisms and to instill fear in the public-

On the first week of January 2023, Ye Yint Kyaw (aka) Soun Ye, Kaung Khant Zaw (aka) Kaung Sein and Nay Lin Aung (aka) Oak-Aw blew up a homemade mine on the Inn pass road in Htantawkyunswe Ward of Monywa Township.
On the second week of January, Ye Yint Kyaw (aka) Soun Ye, Kyaw Ye Thu (aka) Kyaw Lay, Wai Yan Htet (aka) Zee Kwat, Kaung Khant Zaw (aka) Kaung Sein and Nay Lin Aung (aka) Oak-Aw blew up three homemade mines at the junction of the Industrial Zone Road of Monywa Township.
On the 1st of February, Ye Yint Kyaw (aka) Soun Ye, Kyaw Ye Thu (aka) Kyaw Lay, Wai Yan Htet (aka) Zee Kwat and Nay Lin Aung (aka) Oak-Aw threw and blew up two homemade mines to the traffic police booth located at the corner of Pyidaungsu Street and Kyaukkar Street in Alae Ward of Monywa Township.
On March 12, Ye Yint Kyaw (aka) Soun Ye, Kyaw Ye Thu (aka) Kyaw Lay, Wai Yan Htet (aka) Zee Kwat and Kaung Khant Zaw (aka) Kaung Sein blew up two homemade mines in Innsap Road of Shwegon Ward in Monywa Township. Ko Ko Aung (aka) Ta Htaung and Yar Pyae monitored the situation.

Moreover, the so-called Anonymous Terrorist group wantonly killed innocent civilians three times-

On 16 November 2022, Ye Yin Kyaw (aka) Soun Ye (the leader), Kaung Khant Zaw (aka) Kaung Sein, Nay Lin Aung (aka) Oak-Aw and Kyaw Ye Aung (aka) Twenty One (still at large) wantonly killed U Jit Too, an innocent civilian, who lives in Nandawun ward of Monywa city, accusing him of being Decoy (Dalan). Wai Yan Htet (aka) Zee Kwat and Yar Pyae monitored the situation.
On 10 January 2023, Ye Yin Kyaw (aka) Soun Ye (the leader), Kaung Khant Zaw (aka) Kaung Sein, Nay Lin Aung (aka) Oak-Aw and Aung Zaw Htet (aka) Ko Kaung mercilessly beheaded U Kyaw Moe, an innocent civilian, who lives in Gatogon Village in Monywa Township, accusing him of being Decoy (Dalan).
In the first week of February, Kaung Khant Zaw (aka) Kaung Sein, Nay Lin Aung (aka) Oak-Aw and Kyaw Ye Aung (aka) Twenty One (still at large) abducted and killed Nat Too, an innocent civilian, who lives in Ye-U Town, accusing him of being Decoy (Dalan).

Furthermore, according to the confessions of the perpetrators, security personnel found out that the terrorists planted seven improvised mines at left and right sides of the road near ‘Aged Care Centre’ roundabout and another two mines near ‘Seinn Youn Sone’ Beer station. Therefore, security personnel managed to defuse the improvised mines in time before they go blast.
According to the confessions of the perpetrators, it was revealed that Kyi Min, Khin Hnin Soe, Ko Myint and Soe Soe went to shops in Monywa city to purchase explosives accessories needed for the so-called Anonymous terrorist group to carry out detonations in Monywa Township. They also collected food for terrorists and informed them to arrest those who were personally dissatisfied with them, accusing them of being Decoys (Dalan).
It is reported that further measures will be taken to take punitive legal actions against the arrested offenders. The entire public is encouraged to protect and fight against those engaged in terrorist activities, and is also encouraged to report any information about the terrorists’ whereabouts and movements to relevant authorities in confidence, in order to arrest the related offender as soonest. The whistleblowers and those who are arrested are being given a deserved and confidential reward, and that the entire public is requested to work together to restore peace and stability to the towns and villages as soon as possible.
