Security personnel arrest members of so-called Myitnge PDF terrorist group who brutally murdered Superintendent of Myitnge Railway Hospital and innocent civilians, committed acts of terrorist bombing

The chart of the arrested offenders of so-called Myitnge PDF terrorist group who murdered Superintendent of Myitnge Railway Hospital in Myitnge Town, Mandalay Region.

The national government has declared as terrorist organizations - the CRPH NUG, and their subordinate’s so-called PDF terrorist groups, claim to be “for the people”, but are lawlessly killing civil service personnel and innocent citizens, including Buddhist monks and teacher, as well as in engaging in looting, and robbing. Additionally, the terrorists are detonating mines in public places like fun fairs, to sustain fatal injuries. They are also lawlessly assassinating civil service personnel who do not join the CDM (Civil Disobedience Movement) and wantonly blowing up State-owned and public-owned buildings, aiming to disrupt the government mechanism.

Security force members are exerting efforts round the clock to identify and arrest terrorists. In this regard, thanks to the secret reports of local people who do not want the acts that disrupt the community peace and stability and assassinations of civil service personnel, security force members managed to arrest Thiha Zaw Htway (aka) Thiha, a member of so-called Myitnge PDF terrorist group together with one Sig Sauer pistol, its two magazines, 10 rounds of bullet and two grenades in the afternoon of 15 July, 2023.

According to the confessions of the arrested offender Thiha Zaw Htway, security personnel arrested further members of so-called Myitnge PDF terrorist group, Aung Bo Bo Than (aka) Bo Than and Luyi (aka) Thant Zin Oo in front of Swal Daw Pagoda on the Yangon-Mandalay Highway in Amarapura Township and Min Min Hein (aka) Lady at Myitnge crossroad.

According to the accounts of the arrested offenders, offenders Thiha Zaw Htway and Min Min Hein attended the terrorist bombing course at the terrorist base of so-called Myitnge PDF terrorist group near Nagarpauk Village of Myaung Township and formed the so-called Myitnge PDF terrorist group with 15 members led by Win Tun (offender to be arrested), including Thiha Zaw Htway, Luyi, Aung Bo Bo Than, Min Min Hein, and remaining offenders to be arrested, One Tea, Nyein Gyi, Tint Wai, Zaw Naung (aka) Kyat Thar Tone and Ye Lin Maung, in October 2022.

According to the confession of the arrested offender Thiha Zaw Htway, in the first week of May 2023, absconder Zaw Wai Soe of NUG, declared as terrorist group, ordered the group to assassinate Doctor Daw Tin Cho Cho Ko, superintendent of Myitnge Railway Hospital for not joining CDM and persuading other health staff to return to work. Therefore, the offender Thiha Zaw Htway, and remaining offenders to be arrested, Zaw Naung (aka) Kyat Thar Tone and Ye Lin Maung, monitored the situation to assassinate Doctor Daw Tin Cho Cho Ko, it is identified.

On 15 May, Thiha Zaw Htway shot Superintendent of Myitnge Railway Hospital Doctor Daw Tin Cho Cho Ko dead at the ‘Cho’ clinic in Zaykwatthit area of Palate Town, Mandalay Region. During the killing, remaining offenders to be arrested, Zaw Naung (aka) Kyat Thar Tone and Ye Lin Maung performed as watches to monitor the situation of security personnel, it is identified.

According to the confessions of the arrested offenders, it is also found out that they committed two assassinations and one bombing attack under the instructions of absconder Zaw Wai Soe of NUG declared as terrorist group and Win Tun as follows –

- Two other offenders to be arrested, One Tea and Nyein Gyi shot U Phone Kyaw dead by firing pistol under accusation of being decoy/dalan on 28 October, 2022. The victim was a resident in Butar area of Palate Town. Thiha Zaw Htway and Tint Wai (still at large) performed as watches to monitor the situation of security personnel.

- Thiha Zaw Htway made an IED attack on the Heart Zoom restaurant located in Winhtan Kwatthit ward of Palate Town on 24 December, 2022 with the intent to create public panic.

It is reported that measures will be taken to take harsh legal actions against the arrested offenders. The entire public is encouraged to protect and fight against those engaged in terrorist activities, and is also encouraged to report any information about the terrorists’ whereabouts and movements to relevant authorities in confidence, in order to arrest the related offender as soonest. The whistleblowers and those who are arrested are being given a deserved and confidential reward, and that the entire public is requested to work together to restore peace and stability to the towns and Villages as soon as possible.
