Terrorists from the So-Called Hlaing PDF terrorist group Who Conduct Terrorist Acts and Brutally Assassinated Innocent Civilians in Kamayut Township, Mayangone Township, Hlaing Township and Insein Township of Yangon Region

The Chart of offenders which can be arrested from the so-called Hlaing PDF terrorist group who are committing terrorist acts within Yangon Region

The national government has declared as terrorist organizations - the NUG, CRPH and their subordinate’s so-called PDF groups, and their related organizations and persons continue brutally assassinate by targeting innocent civilians including civil service personnel, detonating public area and armed robbing to public properties in order to disrupt State peace and stability, to instill fear in the public and to disrupt government mechanisms.

On January 30, 2023, U Myint Soe, a retired military personnel and Deputy General Manager of Shwewah soap factory at Myat Miba Company, was walking from the bus stop to the factory when he arrived at building No. (3/A), Yadanamon Housing in No.2 Ward, Bayintnaung Street. Two terrorists riding a bicycle shot and assassinated him wantonly with a pistol.

Security personnel are currently attempting to arrest the offenders. With the cooperation and participation of the public, who do not support terrorism, it has been reported that Tin Soe, also known as Boedaw, who was involved in the assassination of U Myint Soe, can be arrested in the afternoon of February 7 on Ayeyatemon Road, No.3 Ward, Hlaing Township. The offender Aye Thein, who is connected to the terrorist group, can be arrested later that evening at his residence located inside the Shwewah factory on Datubayda Street in No.2 Ward, Hlaing Township. Lastly, the offender Chit Ko can be arrested in the evening on the same day in room No.(B/4) of Building No.9, located on Khaymar Street in No.8 Ward, Kamayut Township.

Based on the testimonies of the arrested offenders, it has been reported that Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, who supported arms and ammunition for this incident, can be arrested on the night of 8 February at his residence located at No. (1470/A), Yamethin Street, Hlaing Tharyar Township.

Based on the testimony of the arrested offender, Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, members of the so-called Hlaing PDF terrorist group, Aung Khant Phyo, also known as Moe Tain, and Pyae Phyo Nyein, also known as Ko Kin, who have been responsible for the assassination of innocent civilians within Yangon Region, may be arrested in the afternoon of February 9 at No. (566), 1st Thamardi Street, (16/A) Ward, Thingangyun Township. Additionally, Nyi Nyi Htway, also known as Than Gyuang, can be arrested in Room No. (D/10), 18th Tay-U-Yin Street, No.7 Ward, Hlaing Tharyar Township.

7 offenders who wantonly assassinated innocent civilians within Yangon Region can be arrested.

Based on the testimonies of the arrested offenders, it has been identified that four members of the so-called Hlaing PDF terrorist group, Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, Aung Khant Phyo, also known as Moe Tain, Pyaw Phyo Nyein, also known as Ko Kin, and Nyi Nyi Htway, also known as Than Gyaung, attended a one-month terrorist detonation training program at No.6 Battalion of KNLA No.2 Brigade in October 2021.

According to the testimonies of arrested offenders, so-called Hlaing PDF terrorist group was organized with Aung Zaw Lin also known as Aung Gyi, Aung Khant phyo also known as Moe Tain, Pyae Phyo Nyein also known as Ko Kin, Nyi Nyi Htway also known as Than Gyaung and remaining offenders to be arrested Maung Zaw also known as Hlaing Bwar, Snake, Putin, Sai Yat, AK and Kyat Pha Gyi led by Wai Phyo Han, the remaining offender to be arrested, member of NLD party and the former representative of No.2 Regional parliament, Insein Township, and Than Win Tun also known as Gyoger or Bobar, totaling 12 members participated to assassinate innocent civilians by intending to instill fear in the public.

According to the testimonies of the arrested offenders, Chit Ko, a sales representative at the Shwewah soap factory, Myat Miba Company, was accused of being an Dalan/Informer on U Myint Soe due to personal grievances. He was connected with the Hlaing PDF terrorist group member Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, through the ex-factory employees Tin Soe, also known as Boedaw, and Aye Thein. Chit Ko provided information on the living and moving conditions of U Myint Soe to assist in his assassination. Moreover, Tin Soe stored the pistol used in the assassination at his house, which he had taken from Aung Zaw Lin.

According to the testimonies of arrested offenders, on 30 January at 0430 AM, Tin Soe also known as Boedaw went near 7th Yadanarmon Street and Ayeyatemon Street of Hlaing Township and gave it to Aung Zaw Lin also known as Aung Gyi. After that Aung Zaw Lin also known as Aung Gyi gave this gun to Maung Zaw also known as Hlaing Bwar and Snake who are the remaining offenders to be arrested and who already waiting near Chaung Wa bus-stop. On 05:45 AM, Aung Zaw Lin also known as Aung Gyi monitored the situation of security personnel in assassinating U Myint Soe who walking from bus-stop by Maung Zaw also known as Hlaing Bwar and Snake.

According to the testimonies of arrested offenders, the so-called Hlaing PDF terrorist group members committed 10 times of wantonly assassination to military personnel, departmental personnel and innocent civilians;

On July 4, 2022, Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, reportedly monitored the situation when Pyae Phyo Nyein, also known as Ko Kin, and Nyi Nyi Htway, also known as Than Gyaung, wantonly assassinated innocent civilians by using a pistol - two innocent civilians were dead and one was injured - by accusing them of being Dalan/informers.
On July 15, Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, reportedly monitored the situation when Pyae Phyo Nyein, also known as Ko Kin, and Nyi Nyi Htway, also known as Than Gyaung, wantonly assassinated 100-household administrator U Khin Maung Latt also known as Ko Latt by using a pistol in U Aung Pwint Street of No.2 Ward, Mayangone Township by accusing of being Dalan/informers.
On July 18, Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, reportedly monitored the situation when Maung Zaw also known as Hlaing Bwar and Snake, who are the remaining offenders to be arrested, wantonly assassinated one military officer and his wife by using a pistol in the 9th Bayintnaung Street, No.2 Ward of Hlaing Township.
On August 30, Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, reportedly monitored the situation when Maung Zaw also known as Hlaing Bwar and Sai Yat, who are the remaining offenders to be arrested, wantonly assassinated one innocent civilian by using a pistol in near Insein Market of Zaygone (East) Ward, Insein Township.
On September 17, Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, reportedly monitored the situation when Pyae Phyo Nyein, also known as Ko Kin, and Nyi Nyi Htway, also known as Than Gyaung, wantonly assassinated 100-household administrator U Aung Soe by using a pistol in Yadanar Street, No.13 Ward, Hlaing Township.
On October 6, Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, reportedly monitored the situation when Nyi Nyi Htway, also known as Than Gyaung, and AK, who is the remaining offender to be arrested, wantonly assassinated ex-military personnel U Thein Myint Oo by using a pistol in Tabinshwehtee Street, No.1 Ward, Mayangone Township.
On October 20, Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, reportedly monitored the situation when Aung Khant Phyo also known as Moe Tain and Pyae Phyo Nyein also known as Ko Kin wantonly assassinated two security personnel and one innocent civilian by using a pistol at the corner of Baho Street and Paungse Street, No.13 Ward of Hlaing Township.
On January 25, 2023, Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, reportedly monitored the situation when Maung Zaw, also known as Hlaing Bwar, and Kyat Pha Gyi, who are the remaining offenders to be arrested, wantonly assassinated ex-military personnel U Kyaw Min Than and his wife Daw Naw Saw Myat Mon by using a pistol at the corner of Tabinshwehtee Street and No.2 Street of No.1 Bayintnaung Ward of Mayangone Township.
On January 30, Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, reportedly monitored the situation when Maung Zaw, also known as Hlaing Bwar, and Snake, who are the remaining offenders to be arrested, wantonly assassinated ex-military personnel U Myint Soe by using a pistol in Yadanarmon Housing of Bayintnaung Street, No.2 Ward, Hlaing Township.
On February 3, Aung Zaw Lin, also known as Aung Gyi, reportedly monitored the situation when Sai Yat and Kyat Pha Gyi, who are the remaining offenders to be arrested, wantonly assassinated Fire Services Department personnel U Lu Aye by using a pistol No.2 Zayamingalar Street, No.1 Ward, Hlaing Township.

According to the testimonies of arrested offenders, Wai Phyo Han, the remaining offender to be arrested, who is a member of the NLD party and an ex-representative of the No. 2 Regional Parliament in Insein Township, controlled and commanded these assassinations. Additionally, Wai Phyo Han managed the necessary arms and ammunition, as well as the finances, and provided financial support, ranging from 50,000 MMK to 200,000 MMK, through the so-called Hlaing PDF terrorist group members Than Win Tun (also known as Gyoger or Bobar) and Putin to other terrorist groups based on their capacities for assassinations and terrorist acts. It has been identified that after finishing their operations, the arms and ammunition were returned to Than Win Tun, also known as Gyoger or Bobar.

Security personnel will continue to take necessary measures to effectively deal with these arrested offenders in accordance with the law. The public should also play a role in defending and protecting against those who carry out terrorism. If the public has any information related to the movements of offenders or their hiding places, they are encouraged to secretly report it to the relevant authorities to arrest the offenders as soon as possible. Informers and arrestors will be awarded in cash secretly, and it is requested that the entire population cooperate to maintain peace and stability in their townships and villages.
