Three Innocent Civilians Injured in Drone Bomb Attacks by Terrorists in Shwegyin Township of Bago Region and Pauk Township of Magway Region

Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 May 2026 at 1:25 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Shwegyin Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as Daw Nyein Nyein Ei (38 years old), a resident of Inn Ga Ni Village in Shwegyin Township. According to the investigation, on the same day at 12:00 PM, a bomb dropped by a drone operated by a combined group of KNU and so-called PDF terrorists exploded within her yard, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 3:30 PM, a report stated that a man and a woman with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victims were identified as U Kyaw Thu Win (30 years old) and Ma Ei Zin Win (19 years old), both residents of Sal Pin Village in Pauk Township of Magway Region. According to the investigation, 30 April 2026 at 1:00 PM, a bomb dropped by a drone operated by so-called PDF terrorists exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
