Vice-Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Thiri Pyanchi Maha Thray Sithu Soe Win Attends State Flag-Hoisting and Saluting Ceremony to mark 77th Anniversary of Union Day

A ceremony to hoist the State flag in commemoration of the 77^th Anniversary of Union Day 2024 was held in conjunction with the State flag saluting ceremony on the square in front of the Nay Pyi Taw City Hall on 12 February. The ceremony was attended by the Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Thiri Pyanchi Maha Thray Sithu Soe Win.

First, the State flag-hoisting ceremony in commemoration of the 77^th Anniversary of Union Day took place in the morning, and the flag-hoisting platoon raised the State Flag of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar together with the ethnic races.

Then, the SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister and attendees saluted the State flag. The Vice-Senior General read out the message sent by the SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing to the ceremony to mark the 77^th Anniversary of Union Day 2024.

Also present were Union-level dignitaries, Union ministers, senior military officers, departmental heads, and service personnel from the respective ministries, ethnic cultural dance troupes, ethnicities and distinguished guests.
