Woman Killed in Indiscriminate Attack of PDF Terrorists on a Passenger Car in Dawei Township

A girl was killed in PDF terrorists’ attack on a car (Honda Fit) with innocent civilian passengers onboard which left Dawei township for Kyaukmae Taung village on 19 April. The people on the car were identified as Daw Khin Pyone Myint (65) and her granddaughter Thae Nu Shwe Zin (15) from Kyaukmae Taung village and the driver Mr. Tun Maung (39) from Taung Thonelone village. The car was attacked by PDF terrorists near Thayat Ngote village killing the 15-year-old girl Thae Nu Shwe Zin in gun-shot wounds.

PDF terrorists are committing the heinous crimes of abducting and killing non-combatants of unarmed civilians besides launching remote-mine and small-arm attacks on civilian vehicles. As a result, the entire population is disgusted by such acts.

It is reported that security personnel continue taking necessary security measures to ensure terrorists who attacked the vehicle with unarmed civilian onboard are arrested and taken actions against them, and for the betterment of community peace and stability.
