Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by KIA Insurgents and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Waingmaw Township of Kachin State

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 24 November 2025 at 9:50 AM, a report stated that a man and a woman with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Waingmaw Township Public Hospital in Kachin State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as Daw Kyin May (73 years old) and her son, U Kyaw Kyaw Shin (aka) Pauk Hon (50 year old), both residents of Wu Yan Village in Waingmaw Township. At 9:00 AM, on the same day, when the victims were at their house, a heavy weapon shell fired by a combined group of KIA insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists exploded in front of the house, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
