Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Salin Township of Magway Region

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 16 August 2025 at 7:30 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Sin Phyu Kyun Station Hospital in Salin Township of Magway Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Aye Maung (35 years old), a resident of Moe Wun Village in Salin Township. The incident occurred on 15 August 2025 at 11:00 PM, when the victim was at his house, a heavy weapon shell fired by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded on his house, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
