Order 137/2020

The Ministry of Health and Sports is exercising the rights in Article 21-(b) of the Prevention and Control of Communicable Diseases Law to issue this order.

1. The Ministry of Health and Sports has issued Order 88/2020 dated 12-8-2020 to prohibit from gathering 30 or more people in order to help control the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

2. In order to hold the 2020 General Election on 8 November successfully, we would like to announce that we now allow gathering of 30 or more people at polling stations so that polling station staff and voters can work or participate in the election process in accordance with the regulations and guidelines jointly issued by the Union Election Commission and the Ministry of Health and Sports.
