Innocent Civilian Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Monywa Township of Sagaing Region

     Terrorists have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians and also election commission members, as well as killings.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 January 2026 at 12:45 PM, while Daw Win Kyi (74 years old), the owner of the Nilar noodle-making factory and a resident of Bone Soe Ward in Monywa Township of Sagaing Region, three so-called PDF terrorists arrived and abducted her, it is reported.

     Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
