Innocent Civilian Injured After Stepping on Landmine Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, streets, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 17 November 2025 at 6:25 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Dawei Township Public Hospital in Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Aung Min Oo (44 years old), a resident of Taung Thone Lone Village in Dawei Township. At 4:00 PM, the victim was returning home from his betel plantation, located about four furlongs west of the village. When he reached an area near the Chinese cemetery, situated between his plantation and the village, he accidentally stepped on a landmine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
